| I have spent the last 16 years
traveling around the world drawing and painting architecture
that somehow defines a culture and its people. Since I moved
my family from London to Chicago ten years ago I cannot count
the number of times that I was asked to paint Wrigley Field,
and sure enough, in the summer of 2005 I went there and began
to paint. Over the years I have done a lot of work studying
the city’s industrial corridors and vanishing warehouses,
its crumbling frame houses, the glorious Hancock tower, even
Charlie Trotters restaurant but none says more about Chicago’s
Cultural heritage than these.
