I have spent much of 2005 and the first half of 2006 working on the refurbishment of The Fuerstenau Building here in Chicago to become my new studio. I have north light at my drawingboard for the first time in my career and enough space so that I can work on several paintings at once, and room for my assistant to work without moving all my stuff.

I'm very excited to be painting again, so much so that I'm working in a way that I have never done before. I'm painting India and Nepal and Italy and Mexico and New York all at the same time. I'm like a child in a sweetshop. So there will be work from all points of the compass arriving in galleries over the next few months. Paintings linked not by geography but by composition and shape and type. I am also pleased to announce the launch of three new limited edition prints this year which celebrate the legendary Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs.

My first book, "These Things I Believe" continues to develop and I look forward to announcing its release in the coming months.

So take a look around, note my change of address if you are an existing client, and feel free to contact me with enquiries or to make an appointment to visit the studio. "
